Ich habe immer, wirklich immer Strickzeug mit. Normalerweise sind das Socken mit einem Muster, bei dem ich keine Anleitung brauche, manchmal auch ein Tuch. Wenn ich weiß, das ich viel Zeit zum Stricken habe ( so wie letzte Woche bei einer Fortbildung die jeden tag 9 Stunden gedauert hat ), dann nehme ich auch etwas größeres mit, z. B. letzte Woche eine Jacke, allerdings auch mit nicht zu kompliziertem Muster, sonst hätte ich nichts von den Vorträgen mitbekommen....

I go into the Italian cafe and order a Coffe with a lot milk, after that I go to the tea room for some cups of tea while knitting.Maybe on the way I had to enter the other two shops...

A lot of herbal teas and candies with mint and sugar

I finished my first Lornas Laces socks. The yarn was a gift from my formerly SP-angel Rhonna from Norway ( which was a wonderful angel) and the pattern is from last IWK.
I like them very much.

My first secret pal gift arrived very early ! It contains beautiful merino yarn ( I will knit fingerless mittens with this),a book I don´t know ( it sounds good...), sweets and tea and I don´t know where it came from. The sender is german, but my pal isn´t from Germany, I don´t know where she comes from...

1) How old were you when you learned how to knit?
I was 5 or 6 years old and my mum and my grandma told me how to knit. But I prefered crochet in this age to make suits for my barbie dolls...

2) Who taught you?
See above, at high school, when I was older I learn how to knit cables and other patterns and my teachers told me I would never learn it.

The teachers told me also with my hand writing I could only become a physician and they are right..:-)

Sowohl als auch, ich würde gerne mehr im Laden kaufen, aber 1. gibt es nur wenig Läden, 2. haben sie nicht unbedingt die garne die ich haben möchte und 3. wenn, dann nur in einer sehr eingeschränkten Auswahl...Wenn ich so einen Laden wie Wolle und Design in der Nähe hätte, dann wäre ich glücklich, denn eigentlich möchte ich meine Wolle vorher sehen ....
